How do I prepare for my test?
You should avoid drinking alcohol or eating salty food for two hours prior to your appointment and avoid using nasal sprays for 24 hours before your appointment.
What happens if I test positive?
You will be informed right away and advised to self-isolate in accordance to current government guidelines. Public Health England will be notified of the positive result.
I tested positive for COVID-19 a month ago. Will I test positive again?
COVID-19 can shed for up to 90 days, so there remains a small risk that you will test positive again. Re-infection is also a possibility within that timeframe depending on your risk of exposure/extent that you socialise.
When should I test for a same-day result?
You will need to test before 10.30AM to receive your result by 8:00PM on the same day.
