Menopause is a natural biological process that marks the end of a woman's reproductive years. It is a significant transition that affects a woman's body in many ways, both physically and emotionally. Sometimes a woman may be going through changes and is unsure of the cause or whether she is indeed perimenopausal or menopausal. We can help, from a simple blood test to a full menopause screening.

Every woman goes through menopause, but as it is a gradual process, it can be difficult to know that is what is happening. You might be experiencing vague or clear menopause symptoms but want confirmation of what is happening. We can help with some great options.

Comprehensive Menopause Screening – £575

If you want a clear idea of not only your menopause status but also the impact on your overall health, future risk factors and more, this screening will give you the answers you need. Included:

  • 60-minutes with an experienced doctor
  • Physical examination
  • Our Platinum Blood Profile
  • Comprehensive female hormone screen
  • Resting electrocardiogram
  • Q-Risk calculation (cardiac risk calculation)
  • Telephone follow-up with your results
  • Advice on HRT and other options

We have a range of add-ons if relevant for you:

  • Mammogram / breast ultrasound – £445
  • Cervical smear and HPV screen – £195
  • Transvaginal ultrasound – £445
  • Advanced Cardiac Profile – £295

Female hormone screen – £195

Our hormone screen covers all relevant female hormones with level indicators that help to indicate whether you are perimenopausal or menopausal.

Seeing your doctor or one of ours will help you understand the clinical picture, too, to help you more firmly understand where you are at and what you might need next. A consultation with one of our doctors (£175) will also mean a clear explanation of your results as well as discussing management with HRT if you choose to go down this route and if it is appropriate for you.

We are happy to book you for the blood test without a doctor consultation if this is your preference or if you’d like to discuss your results with your doctor. However, we may not be able to interpret your results without relevant clinical information.
