A medical, including blood testing, needs to be completed no more than three months prior to your trip to the Fiji Islands.

The Fiji Islands embassy requires you to include a medical that is less than three months’ old with your application. The visa form includes a medical assessment which must be completed by a doctor. You will be required to have a urine test for chlamydia and gonorrhoea, a blood test for glucose levels, HbA1C, HIV, Hepatitis B and C, & Syphilis, and a chest X-ray.

In addition, our FCO-registered doctor will discuss your current health and past medical history with you. We can perform all of these tests for you in our private clinic, and organise your chest X-ray as well, with all results available within 24 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

I had a Fiji visa medical last year, do I need a new one?

You will be required to undergo visa medical testing again, as it is for a new visa application. Visa medical certificates are usually only valid for about 3 to 6 months after your results are received.

Who can perform the visa medical for Fiji?

Visa medicals must be conducted by an approved private medical clinic or doctor recognised by Fiji immigration authorities. Our clinic is FCO-registered, and certified to perform these assessments for UK applicants.

How do I book a visa medical appointment?

You can book an appointment by calling our clinic directly or using our online booking system. Early booking is recommended to allow enough time for processing before your visa application.

How do I receive my visa medical report?

Once your tests and examination are completed, our clinic will provide a certified medical report. This can usually be collected in person or sent electronically, depending on your preference.
