The Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) test is used to determine a woman’s fertility levels, based on a correlation between the number of growing follicles in her ovaries, & her remaining egg supply.
AMH is a hormone released by the ovarian follicles. Levels of AMH decrease as you get older, with levels naturally lower in women over 40, & higher for patients who have polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
Our clinic provides the test for AMH (no hidden charges) with a 24-hour turnaround.

When should I get tested?
The test for AMH is used to evaluate your fertility levels, so is often recommended by a doctor for patients experiencing fertility issues. AMH levels remain constant during your menstrual cycle, & thus can be tested at any time of the month. Once your levels have been tested, the doctor can advise you regarding the most effective IVF or non-drug fertility treatment methods.
What does the test include
The test for AMH is a blood test.

FAQs
When is the best time to take an AMH test?
AMH levels are relatively stable throughout the menstrual cycle, so the test can be done on any day. Unlike other fertility hormones, timing within the cycle is not crucial. If you need any additional information, do not hesitate to give us a call.
Does AMH predict fertility?
AMH gives an estimate of ovarian reserve but does not guarantee fertility. Women with low AMH may still conceive naturally, while high AMH does not ensure pregnancy.
Can AMH levels change over time?
AMH can gradually decline with age. Certain medical treatments (like chemotherapy) or surgeries may also affect AMH levels.
Can AMH testing be used in men?
Of course, since AMH is also present in men, and is involved in fetal development of the reproductive system. However, in adults, AMH testing is primarily used in women for fertility assessment.
Can my AMH levels indicate menopause?
It can provide an estimate of approaching menopause, but exact timing of menopause cannot be predicted precisely.
