Visa Medicals FAQs
What documents should I bring to my appointment?
We will need to see your valid UK passport, completed visa application forms (if provided), and any previous medical records, vaccinations, or test results.
Is the visa medical confidential?
All medical information is kept strictly confidential in accordance with medical privacy laws. Results are only released to you or as authorised for visa submission purposes.
Do children need a visa medical too?
Children under 18 applying for long-term visas must also undergo a medical examination. The tests are usually simpler and may exclude some adult-specific screenings, but a physical exam and basic health checks are required.
Can I get my visa medical if I have a chronic condition?
Having a chronic condition like diabetes or hypertension does not automatically prevent you from getting a visa medical. We will document your condition and any medications, and your report will be submitted to immigration as part of your overall assessment.
